Dhaka (Bangladesh) – High Court in Bangladesh has requested death sentence for those who insult Islam or Prophet. At the same time a Maulana who is in the Yunus Government has also said that he is going to develop Mosques like in Saudi Arabia. This indicates Islamisation of Bangladesh.

Bangladesh High Court has suggested that the Parliament should consider whether there should be a provision for capital punishment or life imprisonment for those who pass unnecessary, shameless, obstinate, provocative comments against Quran and Prophet Mohammed. There should be an effort to curb hurting or creating terror through provocative speeches or activities against followers of any religion.

Khalid Husain, who is in the Yunus Government has announced development of a Mosque in Chittagong like in Saudi Arabia. The Government will spend Rs 10 crores for the project.

Editorial Perspective

If Bangladesh High Court can make such request, what is wrong if Hindus in India ask such punishment for those who insult Hindu Dharma ?
