Mumbai – Congress Leader Rahul Gandhi posted a message on ‘X’ on 17th November ‘the 12th death anniversary of Hindu Hriday Samarat Balasaheb Thackeray. He wrote ‘Remembering Balasaheb Thackeray on his 12th death anniversary. My thoughts and sympathy are with Uddhav Thackeray and Aditya Thackeray, and the entire Shiv Sena family’. Rahul avoided addressing Balasaheb Thackeray as Hindu Hriday Samrat. This message of Rahul Gandhi has had numerous comments criticising him on this omission.
In this post Rahul Gandhi has not attached a photograph of Balasaheb Thackeray. Nor has he paid his respects to Balasaheb. This too has been a point of criticism against Rahul Gandhi.
Reacting to this message of Rahul Gandhimany people have posted videos of Balasaheb Thackeray’s old speeches. It includes a video in which Balasaheb is saying, ‘I will not let Shiv Sena ever become like Congress’. It is being said that Rahul has posted the video about the 12th Punya thithi of Balasaheb Thackeray as in the Maharashtra elections the Mahavikas Aghadhi is made of Congress and Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray’s group of Shiv Sena.
