Saints appeal to defeat ‘Vote Jihad’

Maharashtra goes to poll today

Mumbai – Maharashtra is going for polls today, i.e. on 20th November 2024, for the State Assembly seats. Elections will be held in one phase across the State. The slogans raised by Prime Minister Narendra Modi such as ‘Be united and be protected’ and stop ‘Vote Jihad’ have been supported by many high-level Saints and Seers. Videos have been published in this connection, appealing to people to vote for the protection of Sanatan Dharma. The Saints and Seers have stated that Muslim religious leaders have been advising their people to vote for ‘anti- Hindutva’ Governments. In such a situation, even Hindus need to come together and vote in support of pro-Hindu parties.

Support pro-Hindu parties : Trishul Baba, Pithadheeshwar of ‘Maa Baglamukhi Siddhapeetha’

Muslim religious leaders are advising their followers to vote against pro-Hindu Government; then, we too appeal to our people to vote for pro-Hindu parties, which are working for the protection of Sanatan Dharma, stated Trishul Baba, Pithadheeshwar of ‘Maa Baglamukhi Siddhapeetha’. He added that we need to give priority to this matter. Today, a conspiracy is being hatched to establish anti-Hindu Government on this land. We have to accept this truth. In this situation, therefore, we appeal to Hindus to vote for only pro-Hindu parties for the protection of our Dharma and culture.

Hindus should unite and vote for pro-Hindu parties to protect Sanatan Dharma : Swami Hansaram

Mahamandaleshwar Swami Hansaram of ‘Hari Shewa Udasin Ashram’ stated that a few Islamic religious leaders have appealed to Muslims to vote for anti-Hindu parties and warned them of boycott in case they voted for BJP in Maharashtra elections. Such appeals should be opposed. Hindus need to unite and vote for pro-Hindu parties for the protection of the country and Sanatan Dharma. We will never come together if we don’t unite today.

Vote for the protection of culture : Saurabh Gaur

Saurabh Gaur, National President of ‘Dharma Raksha Sangh’ stated that the game of ‘Vote Jihad’ played by a few Muslim religious leaders is wrong. He also appealed to Hindus to unite and vote for pro-Hindu parties if Muslims are going to vote for anti-Hindu parties. In this manner, we can defeat anti-Hindu forces. It is now time for Hindus to stand together for their rights and vote, going beyond communal politics, for the protection of their identity and culture.

Voting for ‘Jihad’ is a matter of concern : Mahant Raju Das

The ‘Vote Jihad’ propagated in Maharashtra is a matter of concern. The Muslim maulavis and religious leaders are advising their people to vote against BJP. A few religious leaders have appealed to people to vote for those who are working for the protection of Sanatan Dharma so that people following ‘Hindutva’ ideology will win the elections and defeat the anti-national forces. Hindu religious leaders and other constituents of the society will have to now come forward against the attempts made to keep Hindu ideology away from power and against the attempts to encourage anti-national forces. It is necessary to unite and protect our culture and ideology, appealed Mahant Raju Das of ‘Hanuman Gadhi’ in Ayodhya.

People should keep away from misleading and divisive forces : Mahant Durgadas

Mahant Durgadas, Spokesperson of ‘Akhil Bharatiya Akhara Parishad’ stated about ‘Vote Jihad’ that the announcement of ‘Vote Jihad’ made by Muslim religious leaders is not only treason but is also illegal. Such appeals can endanger the unity and integrity of this country. Every citizen has a right to vote and no religious leader or person can take away that right. We need to concentrate on the main problems faced by the country such as unemployment, border security, communal harmony, etc. People should keep away from misleading and divisive forces.
