‘QR code’ to be used to identify doctors
|
Mumbai – To curb bogus modern doctors and provide people information about registered doctors, the Maharashtra Medical Council (MMC) has developed a special app. Doctors, who register online on this app, will be issued a QR code, which will be mandatory to display outside their clinics. When scanned, this code will provide complete information about the respective doctor.
Currently, 190,000 doctors across the State have been registered with the Maharashtra Medical Council. Their online registration is being done through this special app, and so far, 134,000 of these doctors have registered on the app.
