Absurd instructions with a mix of Hindi and Marathi language written inside ‘Vande Bharat’ train

After a complaint from Harshad Khanwilkar of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti, railway administration assures to correct the same

Mumbai – The instructions for passengers written inside the coaches of ‘Vande Bharat’ train, which is equipped with all the facilities and advance systems, have numerous mistakes in vocabulary. In some of the instructions, Hindi and Marathi words have been mixed, which is absurd and shows the railway administration in a bad light. Youth organizer of Hindu Janajagruti Samiti Harshad Khanwilkar, who was traveling from Madgaon to Mumbai in ‘Vande Bharat’ train on November 6th, noticed the mistakes in these instructions. He informed the railway administration about these mistakes by posting on ‘X’ with a photograph. Shortly thereafter, the railway administration assured to correct the instructions by calling him and also by replying to his post.

1. An instruction about ‘Automatic Door’ was written in Hindi as ‘स्वचालित दरवाजा’, which should have been ‘स्वचलित द्वार’ instead.

2. Instruction was written as ‘दरवाजा स्वत: खुलेगा व बंद होगा’, which is a mixture of Marathi and Hindi words. It should have been ‘द्वार अपने आप खुलेगा और बंद होगा’.
