Two Hindu youths arrested for sedition in Bangladesh

The saffron flag was hoisted there during the march at Laldighi Ground

Chittagong (Bangladesh) – Rajesh Chaudhary and Hriday Das, 2 Hindu youths, were arrested by the Police for hoisting the saffron flag over the national flag of Bangladesh. A case of sedition has been registered against 19 people for hoisting the saffron flag on top of the national flag on the Azadi Pillar in New Market here. On October 25, the Sanatan Jagran Manch conducted a march at Laldighi Maidan here. This saffron flag was hoisted there. ‘We are Sanatani’ was written on this flag. After this incident, Feroze Khan had registered a case in Kotwali Police station. It is illegal to fly any other flag above the national flag in Bangladesh.
