Canada’s allegations against Amit Shah ‘concerning’, will consult with Canada : USA
Washington (USA) – Some Canadian officials have alleged that India’s Union Home Minister Amit Shah orchestrated the killing of Khalistanis in Canada. Canadian Deputy Foreign Minister David Morrison and National Security and Intelligence Adviser Nathalie Drouin had admitted that sensitive information about India’s alleged activities in Canada had been leaked to ‘The Washington Post’ by them. Now the US has also reacted to this. Addressing the press conference, US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said that the allegations leveled against Amit Shah are ‘concerning’ and the US would consult with Canada over these allegations.
Nathalie Drouin, while giving information to the Public Safety Committee of the Parliament, said the above topic regarding Amit Shah, a newspaper in Canada has reported. Drouin also said that Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s permission was not required to leak such sensitive information to ‘The Washington Post’.
The Government of India has rejected Canada’s allegation. India has said that the claim of Amit Shah targeting Khalistani terrorists is false and baseless.
Editorial PerspectiveOne anti-India country is verifying the allegations from another anti-India country ! The fact is, both the US and Canada are using Khalistanis to run their anti-India agenda. |
