More than 20 Islamic countries, including Pakistan, to form Independent Military Organisation

Aim to act against terrorism

New Delhi – More than 20 Islamic countries from Asia and Africa, including Pakistan will form an independent Muslim NATO (military organisation), in line with NATO (military organisation of more than 30 countries). This group will have Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Turkey, Egypt, UAE, Jordan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Afghanistan and Malasia as the main members. Associate countries which can participate, will be, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Brunei. Iran, Iraq, Oman, Quatar, Kuwait, Morocco, Algeria, Tunesia and Libya can be main supporting partners. The main objective of the group will be to fight against terrorism and promote unity among Muslims.

Earlier in  December 2015 ‘Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition’ was formed. 42 countries from Asia and Africa were included. This organisation was formed to counter terrorism, and it is active even today.

Tension between India and Muslim countries will increase

There is a possibility of increased tension between India and Muslim countries because of Muslim NATO. This group can join hands with Pakistan and Bangladesh to disturb the diplomatic, political and strategic balance of the Indian sub-continent. The experts feel that this group can also interfere with Kashir issue.

Editorial Perspective

Jihadis are responsible for all the terroristic activities worldwide. Looking at the list of member countries, more than half of the countries are promoting terrorism directly or indirectly.  To begin with, the organisation will have to act against its own members. Which can never be a reality. In conclusion, it is only a farce.
