Producer purposely showed a Muslim coach instead of a real-life Hindu coach in the Hindi movie ‘Chak De! India’ : Actor Annu Kapoor
Mumbai – Some years ago the Hindi movie ‘Chak De! India’ based on the character of a hockey coach was released. In this movie, Shah Rukh Khan acted as the coach named as Kabir Khan. In reality, the story of the movie was based on a Hindu coach called Mir Ranjan Negi. The movie producer purposely showed a Muslim instead of a Hindu. This information was given by actor Annu Kapoor in an interview to the news agency ANI Mir Ranjan Negi was a famous hockey player. He had also coached the Indian women’s hockey team. Under his guidance this team had won the Common Wealth Games gold medal.
“Chak De India changed the coach’s religion from Hindu to Mu$l!m,” – Annu Kapoor in Podcast
Mohandas Gandhi’s journey of portraying Hindus as inferior and showing Mu$l!ms in positive light has not stopped.

In India there is always an attempt to make fun of a Hindu priest
Annu Kapoor further said that, “In India, they want to show a Muslim as a good character and make fun of a Hindu priest. And then they talk about the Ganga-Jamuna culture projecting Hindu Muslim unity.” (This is the real face of the Hindi Film Industry. Now, it won’t be surprising if Hindus start boycotting such movies- Editor)
