Jaipur (Rajasthan) – The documentary titled ‘BBC on Trial’, which exposes the anti-India and anti-Hindu face of the BBC, was released on the night of 25th October during the three-day global event ‘Reclaiming Bharat’. This event was organised by the organisation ‘The Jaipur Dialogues’. The documentary was broadcasted through various well-known and devout Hindu online media platforms. Global Hindu Federation, the producer of the documentary, expressed special gratitude to ‘The Jaipur Dialogues’, ‘String Reveals’, ‘Prachyam’, ‘Swarajya Mag’ and ‘Sanatan Prabhat’ for their support in disseminating the documentary.

This documentary has been released on the OTT platforms ‘String Reveals’ and ‘Prachyam’, as well as on the YouTube channel of the ‘Global Hindu Federation’. It is written and directed by Pandit Satish Sharma, the president of the Global Hindu Federation, and the video was edited by Vinod Kumar of String Reveals. Many Hindus from India, the United Kingdom, the United States, and New Zealand contributed to the production of this documentary.

Highlights in the documentary :
1. The documentary is 68 minutes long and is divided into 5 chapters. Each chapter not only showcases the BBC’s anti-Hindu and anti-India bias but also illustrates how the BBC undermined governments in countries like Iran, Libya, and Iraq for their interests, the injustices faced by loyal editors and journalists within the BBC, and the cases of many employees involved in sexual crimes without any actions taken against them.
2. Numerous examples of the baseless and distorted reporting by the BBC concerning India are presented. For instance, during the 26/11 jihadi terrorist attacks in Mumbai, the attackers were referred to as ‘gunmen’ rather than ‘terrorists’.
3. In discussing the true nature of ‘neo-colonialism’, the BBC makes a biased attempt to show how the condition of countries deteriorated after British colonial rule ended.
4. It mentions that Subhash Chandra Bose referred to the BBC as the ‘Bluff and Bluster Corporation’ in 1942. Throughout the documentary, the BBC is depicted as ‘a weapon of mass destruction’, ‘a secret tool of global warfare disguised as a news agency’, ‘not a double-standard entity but an authoritative force’, and ‘the BBC using news as a weapon’.
5. Between 2019 and 2021, the BBC’s growth in India surged by a whopping 173%, while its global growth during the same period was only 35%. We should not forget the anti-India farmers’ protests in Delhi in 2020 that were incited by foreign agents.
