Hindus should keep spear, sword and trident at home for self- defense : Giriraj Singh, Union Minister
Patna (Bihar) – Union Minister Giriraj Singh has embarked on a Hindu Swabhiman Yatra in Bihar. Addressing people during a yatra in Bihar’s Kishanganj district, he urged Hindus to keep spears, swords and tridents at home. ‘Purify these weapons and worship them and if necessary use them for self-defense’, he said.

Giriraj Singh said,
1. The Hindu community is under threat and needs to be united. I have visited the nearby districts of Araria, Katihar and Purnia before coming here (in Kishanganj).
2. People everywhere expressed their concern to me about the dignity of their sisters and daughters. I was told that many Hindu girls are victims of Love Jihad every year. After that they are converted to Islam.
3. I have learned that in places where Muslims outnumber Hindus, Hindu temples are vandalised and religious practices such as the application of vermilion by women are stipped.
4. Christian missionaries are also active in these areas; but Muslims are only targeting Hindus.
