Hindu actress who accepted Islam after marrying a Muslim re-enters Hindu Dharma

Farhan Mirza and Chahat Khanna

Mumbai – I was brainwashed to get converted to Islam. Now I am thrilled to come back to Sanatan Dharma. I was told that every aspect of Hinduism is wrong, confessed actress Chahatt Khanna. She was speaking in a 43-minute-long interview given to the channel ‘Telly Talk India’. She gave a complete account of her conversion to Islam after marrying Farhan Mirza and her comeback to Sanatan.

Khanna married a businessman Bharat Narsinghani in 2006 and divorced later. After this, she married Farhan Mirza. Chahatt had converted to Islam. The couple has two daughters. Chahatt divorced Farhan in 2018.

Khanna said,

1. I am a devotee of Shri Kali and Shrikrushna. It took me around 4-5 years to return to my original faith after the divorce as I believed in Islam. I still like a few things in Islam; (Chahatt Khanna seems still under the influence of Islam – Editor). But still I came back to my roots. I
consider myself to be lucky.

2. I had gone astray. When we are young, we are influenced by someone saying ‘what you are doing is wrong’. Then we can go down the wrong path. This is what happened in my case; but I came back to Sanatan.
