Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Ruined Relations with India for Political Gain

Ottawa (Canada) – Canada has yet to present any evidence regarding the Nijjar assassination case. Prime Minister Trudeau has himself admitted that there are no solid proofs, only intelligence information. If you wish to ruin a relationship based on that, so be it. Trudeau has acted out of political self-interest, claimed Sanjay Verma, former High Commissioner of India to Canada. He made this statement in an interview with Canadian news channel CTV before returning to India. After Trudeau repeated his accusations against India, New Delhi recalled Verma and six other diplomats from Canada.

Canada’s Intelligence Agency Encourages Khalistani Extremists and Terrorists

Verma further stated that all the allegations related to Hardeep Singh Nijjar’s assassination are politically motivated. The Canadian government has not provided any evidence so far. “I would like to see what concrete proof Canadian Foreign Minister Melanie Joly is referring to,” Verma said, emphasizing that Canada’s intelligence agency encourages Khalistani extremists and terrorists.

Khalistani Terrorists Living in Canada Are Canadian Citizens

Verma clarified that the Khalistani terrorists living in Canada are not Indians but Canadian citizens. These individuals are working against India from Canadian soil. “We hope that the Canadian government refrains from collaborating with such individuals, as they are challenging India’s sovereignty and integrity,” Verma added. He further criticized Canadian leaders, stating, “If they believe they are unaware of what their enemies are doing within their country, then I regret to say they are naïve. Perhaps they do not understand the nature of international relations.”

Editorial Perspective

Despite India’s warnings, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau will not be affected, as his accusations against India serve his political interests. Canadians need to hold Trudeau accountable for this.
