Whatever happened was inevitable : Sarwar Chishti of Ajmer
Infuriating statement by Sarwar Chishti of Ajmer on the murder of Ram Gopal Varma in Bahraich (Uttar Pradesh)
Ajmer (Rajasthan) – Sarwar Chishti, secretary of ‘Anjuman Syed Jadgan’, a trade union in Ajmer, reacted on the murder of Ram Gopal Varma and the attack on the procession of the idol of Shri Durgadevi in Uttar Pradesh’s Bahraich, saying that after lowering the green flag, the flag of a particular religion is being hoisted in every house. Muslims are being abused; then there will be no shower of flowers, what happened was inevitable,” he said. (If that is the case then how should Hindus react over attacks on Hindu processions near mosques ? Should they also take the law into their own hands ? – Editor)
Chishti further said that our processions are taken out; but we do not abuse anyone. All this is happening on one side. Famous Muslims are being killed here, sometimes Sikhs are being killed. If the government is not involved in this, how will this happen, he asked.
Editorial PerspectiveThose who openly say such things should be put behind the bars by the police ! Hopefully, through these statements the Hindus will realise the mentality of the religious fanatics towards Hindus and bury the self-destructive secularism mentality ! |
