RSS volunteers attacked by fanatic Muslims in Jaipur while celebrating Sharad Pournima

• 10 volunteers seriously injured

• Fanatics kicked the earthen pot of prasad

Jaipur (Rajasthan) – Sharad Pournima celebrations were organised here in the Shiv temple, Rajani Vihar, by the Jagdambanagar Branch of the RSS, on the night of 17th October. The area comes under the jurisdiction of Karni Vihar Police Station. Devotees were being distributed kheer prasad. On this occasion, Hanuman Chalisa and Ram Dhuni recitation was also performed. After this, Naseeb Chaudhary, who lives in the neighbourhood, reached the temple with his sons and threatened to stop the programme. Naseeb and his son kicked the earthen pot of kheer in a fit of anger. Later they attacked the RSS volunteers with knife. 10 people got injured in this scuffle. They were immediately sent to SMS Hospital. These volunteers were stabbed multiple times on their stomach and chest. Their condition is serious. Realising the seriousness of the matter, the Police immediately arrested Naseeb Chaudhary and one of his sons. After this incident, a large police force was deployed at the site of the incident. State Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathod, MLA Gopal Sharma, BJP leader Arun Chaturvedi and several RSS officials reached the hospital to meet the injured.

MLA Gopal Sharma said that Naseeb Chaudhary wants to grab the Shiv Temple land. That is why he attacked unarmed people with knife. Shankar Bagra, Murarilal, Ram Pareek, Lakhan Singh Jadon, Pushpendra and Dinesh Sharma were seriously injured.

Gopa Sharma has accused the Police of entering the garbha-gruha of the temple with their shoes on and lathi charging the RSS volunteers.
