🚨Attacks on Journalists Reporting on #Khalistani #Terrorism: Indian-Origin Canadian MP, @AryaCanada speaks out!
What is surprising about attacks on anti-Khalistani journalists in a country where the PM himself openly supports #Khalistanis ? @UN take note! Designate countries… pic.twitter.com/7yE0TB4ayA

1. MP Arya highlighted that in March 2023, Khalistani supporters attacked Samir Kaushal from ‘Radio AM 600’. In February 2022, Deepak Punj, a host from ‘Brampton Radio’, was attacked in his studio for criticizing Khalistani-related violence.
2. Last September, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused India of possible involvement in the assassination of Khalistani supporter Hardeep Singh Nijjar in British Columbia. This led to severe diplomatic tension between India and Canada. However, India firmly denied Trudeau’s allegations.
Editorial PerspectiveWhen Canada’s Prime Minister openly supports Khalistanis, is it any surprise that journalists opposing Khalistan face attacks in Canada ? The United Nations should now declare such countries as ‘supporters of terrorism’ and take strict action. |
