Riots in Hubballi by fanatic Muslims in 2022
Bengaluru (Karnataka) – The Congress Government in Karnataka has taken a decision to withdraw the case regarding the Hubballi riots. The names of the accused in this case included All India Majlis-E-Ittehadul Muslimeen (AIMIM) leaders, along with several others.
A mob of fanatic Muslims had attacked Hubballi Police Station and beat up the Police. Nearby Hanuman Temple and a Hospital were also targeted at this time. It caused a lot of damage, and 12 Policemen were injured. 100 people were arrested after this incident. The Councillor of Hubballi-Dharwad Municipal Corporation, Nazeer Ahmed’s name was included among the accused. AIMIM leader Maulana Wasim was accused of instigating the mob, he was making provocative speech at the Dargah, and he was also with the mob outside the Police station.
