Union Minister and BJP in-charge for the Jharkhand State, Shivraj Singh Chouhan

Ranchi (Jharkhand) – “The Jharkhand Government, led by Chief Minister Hemant Soren, is favouring infiltrators. This election is not just about choosing a Chief Minister or to gain power, but it is to save Jharkhand. The demography of this region is rapidly changing due to Bangladeshi infiltrators. Bangladeshi infiltrators will be identified and expelled. The BJP is committed to implementing NRC in the State,” assured Union Minister and BJP in-charge for the Jharkhand State, Shivraj Singh Chouhan on 7th October.

Minister Chouhan further stated that,

1.     The tribal population in the Santhal region has now dwindled to less than 28%.

2.     We are determined to protect ‘Roti, Mati aur Beti’ (bread, land, and daughters).

3.     Chief Minister Hemant Soren’s Government is favouring the infiltrators for vote bank politics.

4.     We will implement the NRC in Jharkhand in which native residents will be registered and the infiltrators will be identified and expelled.

Elections likely in December

Elections for the 81-member legislative assembly in Jharkhand are expected to take place by December 2024, as the current Government’s term ends in January 2025. The Election Commission has not yet announced the election schedule. In the 2020 assembly elections, the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha won 30 seats, the Bharatiya Janata Party secured 25, and the Congress won 16 seats.

Editorial Perspective

It is essential to prepare for the removal of not just those in Jharkhand, but all 5 crore Bangladeshi infiltrators from across the country. Otherwise, staunch anti-Hindu elements will spread propaganda that such statements are merely election rhetoric.
