Hindu Rashtra Coordination Committee files complaint in four Police stations

  • March held at Shiv Janmabhoomi, Junnar, in support of the killed Hezbollah chief

  • Strict action demanded against all the culprits including the mastermind

Pune (Maharashtra) – In the ongoing war between Israel and the terrorist organisation Hezbollah, the group’s chief Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah has been killed by Israel. Hezbollah has been designated as a terrorist organisation by the US and 60 other countries. Meanwhile, large hoardings were put up in Junnar village, Pune District, the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, proclaiming Nasrallah as a martyr fighting for humanity. A march was also held on 3rd October to celebrate Black Day on the sacred occasion of Ghatsthapana. This has left the followers of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and patriotic citizens outraged. In response to this incident, the Hindu Rashtra Coordination Committee has filed complaints at four Police stations.

1. On 3rdOctober, Muslims in Junnar also held a march to commemorate Black Day on the sacred occasion of Ghatsthapana. This left the followers of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj and patriotic citizens outraged.

2. The Hindu Rashtra Coordination Committee has demanded urgent and strict legal action against the main orchestrator of this anti-national and treasonous act in Junnar, the birthplace of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. Complaints have been lodged with the Chief Minister, Home Minister of Maharashtra, the Superintendent of Police for Pune Rural, as well as Police stations in Talegaon, Manchar, and Kolhapur.

The complaint states,

1. Nasrallah was glorified by putting up a big hoarding by some Muslims at Sayyed Wada in Junnar. The hoarding displays India’s allies like Israel and America as terrorists.

2. The Hindu Rashtra Coordination Committee asked following questions in the complaint – Who put up the banner in support of Nasrallah at Junnar and why ? What was the motive behind it ? Where did they get the funding from ? Who held the march in support of terrorists and why ? Did they obtain Police permission for it ?

3. This anti-national act is done with the aim of spreading poison and hatred in the society against India’s allies by glorifying terrorist activities. This kind of act done in Junnar, which has been sanctified by the presence of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, tarnishes the image of Maharashtra and the country. Placards glorifying Nasrallah by calling him a humanitarian is a disgrace to the Police administration. The Police should at least now take strict action in this regard.

Editorial Perspective

Why do devout Hindus have to make such a demand ? The Police should take cognisance and act against those who support Jihadi terrorism !
