Muslims protest across UP against Yeti Narasimhanand’s statement about Prophet Muhammad

Bulandshahr (Uttar Pradesh) – Due to the statement made by Mahamandleshwar Yeti Narasimhanand of the old arena of Dasna temple in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, Muslims took to the streets in Uttar Pradesh and protested. Stones were pelted at some places. Thousands of Muslims gathered outside Dasna Temple and protested. The Police dispersed the crowd at midnight. Demonstrations were also held by Muslims in Meerut and Mathura. This time, the Police conducted a parade. Vigilance has been issued in western Uttar Pradesh after these incidents. Outside the Secunderabad Police Station in Bulandshahr, Muslims rioted after Friday namaz. At this time, slogans of ‘Sar Tan Se Juda’ (Beheading) were given. The Police caught some people and took them to the Police station. As a result of this, stones were pelted on the Police in Gaddiwad area in the evening.

Yeti Narasimhanand had made a statement about Prophet Muhammad in a programme in Ghaziabad 6 days ago. A crime was registered after Muslims complained to the Police in Ghaziabad, objecting that the statement was offensive, while another was registered at the Mumbra Police station in Thane District of Maharashtra.
