If the trustees do not act to demolish the unauthorised mosque in Dharavi, Mumbai by the set date, the administration will take action : Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis
Mumbai – The trustees have provided a written promise to take down the illegal mosque in Dharavi themselves. Maharashtra will not tolerate illegal activities based on numbers. During an interview with ‘Zee News’ on September 28, Home Minister Devendra Fadnavis emphasised that the administration will take further action if the illegal mosque is not demolished within the given timeframe.
Devendra Fadnavis commented on Ajit Pawar’s integration into the Mahayuti, stating, “It’s true that his entry did not bring us the expected gains in the Lok Sabha elections. Our partnership with Eknath Shinde’s Shiv Sena is more natural, while Ajit Pawar’s involvement is a political maneuver. Ajit Pawar’s entry fragmented the NCP’s votes. Converting those divided votes during the Lok Sabha elections was a significant challenge; however, we are confident we will secure their support in the assembly elections. Ajit Pawar has adapted while remaining true to his core principles. As a result, his candidates are likely to receive votes from the Mahayuti in the assembly elections. Allies will be allotted the seats based on their capabilities honorably.”
The Lok Sabha elections witnessed instances of ‘Vote Jihad’ !
The Lok Sabha elections operated within a specific ‘ecosystem’ influenced by religious leaders. People came from both within India and from other countries to vote in Maharashtra. Unfortunately, many Muslims were misled during these elections. ‘Vote Jihad’ occurred during the Lok Sabha elections, with efforts to defeat the Mahayuti. A deceptive narrative was presented, but lies ultimately cannot stand the test of time. Unable to compete with us, our opponents attempted to create chaos. They spread a false narrative by organising yatras like ‘Bharat Jodo,’ bringing together people from various organisations. This time, Fadnavis made serious allegations about foreign funding.
