‘OM Certificate’ to be awarded for maintaining the purity of Prasad

Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale (Founder of Sanatan Sanstha) blesses the ‘Om Certificate’ campaign on the occasion of Ganesh Festival

Ramnathi, Goa – To preserve the purity of Prasad given in temples and the sanctity of worship, ‘Om Pratishthan’ initiated an eco-friendly ‘Ganeshotsav’ campaign. On the auspicious day of Hartalika (6th September 2024), the distribution of ‘Om Certificate’ was inaugurated by Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale. The certificate was ceremoniously handed over to the ‘Sanatan Prasad Production Centre’, Ramnathi Ashram, Goa, after it was sanctified with His Divine touch.

On 14th June 2024, Om Pratishthan along with various Hindu nationalist organisations, appealed in Trimbakeshwar to purchase Prasad and puja materials only from ‘Hindu Purity Standard Certified’ stores. Then, the first certificate was offered at the feet of Shri Trimbakeshwar by Acharya Peethadhishwar (Dr) Aniket Shastri Maharaj (President of the All India Saints Committee, Maharashtra Region) and key figures such as Mr Ranjit Savarkar (President of the Swatantryaveer Savarkar Rashtriya Smarak), Mr Sunil Ghanwat (Coordinator of HJS for Maharashtra & Chhattisgarh and Coordinator of Maharashtra Mandir Mahasangh) and Ms Manjiri Marathe (Treasurer of Savarkar Pratishthan). The certificate was distributed to selected Prasad sellers around the temple premises.

This campaign of Om Pratishthan is highly commendable : Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Jayant Athavale

As per Hindu Scriptures, the purer the Prasad and worship materials offered to God, the higher the spiritual benefit for the worshipper. “The campaign of Om Pratishthan to celebrate a pure and sattvik Ganeshotsav while preserving its sanctity is highly commendable”, said Sachchidananda Parabrahman (Dr) Athavale on the occasion. He added that the purity and sattvikata of the worship increases as the worshipper performs the ritual while chanting the Name of the respective Deity. This will help enhance sattvik vibrations in the environment, and make this campaign even more fruitful.

Purpose of issuing the ‘Om Certificate’

The ‘Om Certificate’ campaign was launched for the unity and survival of Hindus. This campaign, initiated under the leadership of Ranjit Savarkar, grandson of Swatantryaveer Savarkar, led to the establishment of Om Pratishthan. Although this Pratishthan is for all Hindus, it will first verify if the materials used in making the Prasad are completely pure before issuing the ‘Om Certificate’.

Om Certificate to empower Hindu shopkeepers

Shopkeepers across the country will be given the ‘Om Purity Certificate’. It will also be ensured that the products sold by Hindu shopkeepers are made by Hindus. The ‘Om Purity Certificate’ is not a business to make money, nor is it an attempt to challenge Government systems. It is an effort aimed at empowering Hindus. Before raising questions about the Om Certificate, it needs to be noted that many Hindus have raised their doubts about it, even before Muslims. These Hindus have, however, never objected to Halal certificates.

How to search for the names of certified stores that have Om Certificate ?

When the QR code on the ‘Om Purity Certificate’ is scanned, the name of the centre that received the certificate will appear on your mobile. If the name on the certificate matches the name at the actual location, you are at the right place. If the name differs, it indicates that the certificate is invalid and not associated with the centre. In such cases, you should refrain from buying anything from there and lodge a complaint. Om Pratishthan has appealed for participation in the ‘Om Purity Certificate’ campaign to support the growth of Hindu businesses.

As per our Scriptures, purer the Prasad and worship materials offered to God, higher the spiritual benefit for the worshipper !
