Hand over the management of Tirupati Balaji Temple to Hindus : Vishva Prasanna Swamiji

Vishva Prasanna Swamiji of Pejavar muth in Udupi demands

Udupi (Karnataka) – “The use of fish oil, pork fat and beef fat in the Tirupati Balaji Temple prasad is a great insult to the Hindu community. It is also an insult to the Deity. It is reprehensible that the Government has done such a despicable act. Religious Centres should not be under the control of the Government, they should be under the control of Hindus. The same has been said in the judgement of the Supreme Court. At least now, the temples should be freed from Government control,” demanded Vishwa Prasanna Swamiji of Pejavar muth in Udupi.

Swamiji further said, “Srinivasa of Tirupati took incarnation to protect the cow, according to the Puranas. A cow was milking a snake in this holy place. At that time, it is said that Srinivasa himself saved the cow from the clutches of the owner. Such cow protector Srinivasa was given the prasad made of beef fat. This is an unpardonable offence. This is an attack on the religious sentiments of the Hindus.”
