In his petition, Dr Swamy has urged the Supreme Court to direct the formation of a committee to investigate the allegations that substandard ingredients and animal fat were used in the laddus, which are distributed as prasad at the Tirupati Temple. He has also requested the Court to order the submission of reports on the lab tests conducted on the laddus, as well as the sources of the ghee samples used in the tests.
