Police complaint registered against former Andhra CM Jagan Mohan Reddy
The Tirupati Temple laddooprasadam case
Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) – Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y.S. A police complaint has been registered against Jagan Mohan Reddy and others. An advocate has made this complaint at the Saidabad Police Station in Bhagyanagar, the capital of Telangana. They have been accused of harming the sanctity of the Sri Venkateswara Balaji Temple in Tirupati and hurting the religious sentiments of Hindus by adulterating the ghee used in Ladoo Prasadam.
Petitions in Courts
1. Surjit Singh Yadav, President of Hindu Sena Samiti has filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) in the Supreme Court on Saturday seeking to form a Special Investigation Team (SIT) to probe the allegations of using animal fat in the preparation of Tirupati prasadam. Additionally, advocate Satyam Singh has also filed a similar petition in the Supreme Court.
2. On the other hand, YSRCP has requested the High court for an enquiry into the matter under the supervision of an existing judge. The next hearing for the same has been scheduled for 25th September.
3. Union Health Ministry has asked the Andhra Pradesh Government for a report in the matter of the laddoos. J.P.Nadda, Minister of Health said, “ I have spoken to Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. The temple prasadam laddoos shall to be tested.”
4. TDP,Congress and BJP have asked for a CBI enquiry into the matter.
The culprits should get severe punishment ! – Sri Sri Ravi Shankar
Sri Sri Ravi Shankar has demanded, “Hindu sentiments have been hurt. This cannot be forgiven. Culprits should be severely punished. All their property should be confiscatedand those who are even remotely associated with the case should be imprisoned.”
Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan shall undergo penitent fasting for 11 days
Pawan Kalyan, Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh announced on X, “I am deeply hurt by the attempt to erode the purity of the Tirupati Balaji Temple through adulteration of the temple prasadam. Actually I feel as if I have been personally cheated. Hence I pray to Lord Vekateshwara that his gracious benevolence always be there on us and all Sanatanis. From this moment onwards, I shall undergo an atonement and seek forgiveness from God. I am taking a religious vow to go on an 11 day fast. On the last day of the fast, on 1st or 2nd October, I shall myself go to the Tirupati Balaji Temple and seek forgiveness from God.
