The Govt will not spare the suppliers of adulterated ghee : Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy

Amaravati (Andhra Pradesh) – Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has announced that the State Government would not spare the suppliers of adulterated ghee to the Tirupati Balaji temple. While criticizing the Y.S.R. Congress, Chief Minister Naidu asked how cow ghee can cost only Rs 320 per kg. Instead of accepting their mistake, he (former Chief Minister Jaganmohan Reddy) is shamelessly alleging it to be politics. How can he compromise on the quality of ghee ? This is not only about quality but also about maintaining purity and respecting the sentiments of millions of devotees. No one should play with feelings, traditions, or religious practices. Our Government gives utmost importance to preserving the sanctity of temples and the sentiments of devotees. Every religion has its own traditions and customs, and it is necessary to protect them.

I have never interfered in the affairs of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam!” – Claims Jagan Mohan Reddy

Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy, said, “I have never interfered in the daily affairs of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). (Jagan Mohan Reddy appointed his own people as members of the TTD board, and interfered in the affairs of the temple through them. The public is aware of the facts. – Editor) It is the responsibility of the temple administration to maintain the purity of the ‘prasadam’, not mine. During the COVID-19 pandemic, all institutions faced financial challenges. At that time, the temple management itself decided to handle the temple’s operations, and I was not personally involved in them. Both former TTD chairman, Y.V. Subba Reddy and Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, have welcomed the decision of conducting investigations. They are confident that no mistakes occurred under their regime.”

  • Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Outburst
  • Claims being targeted for belonging to a different religion

Jagan Mohan Reddy further stated that it was not the first time Chandrababu Naidu has used religion for political gain. Since Reddy belonged to a different religion (Christianity), Naidu and his party have been trying to defame Reddy and his family. They even spread false information against his father, but their attempts failed every time. Reddy further claimed that even this time, the truth will prevail, as the public knew the facts.

This is an example of how minorities in India, when caught in wrongdoing, try to get sympathy by playing their victim card.
