Muslims targeted during Nagamangala riots : SDPI

Social Democratic Party of India’s (SDPI) baseless allegation about Nagamangala riots

Mandya (Karnataka) – “The riots in Nagamangala here were pre-planned. During the riots, Muslim shops and properties were targeted and set on fire. We demand a judicial inquiry into the riots from the Karnataka Government,” stated the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI), the political wing of the banned Jihadi outfit Popular Front of India. Party State President Abdul Majeed made this demand after visiting the riot-hit area.

1. Majeed said that the Ganesh procession was intentionally stopped in front of the mosque. Some miscreants in the procession created a tense atmosphere by shouting provocative slogans. After that, the shops of Muslims were targeted and set on fire. Suspicions that the riots were premeditated are strengthened by the fact that the Police did not take any action when shops in front of the Police station were set on fire.

2. Accusing the Police, Majeed said that on the charge of rioting, the Police broke the doors of the Muslim houses, pushed the women and arrested the youth. The riots were against Muslims, burnt property and shops belong to Muslims, but only Muslims are being arrested. Is this justice ? Majeed accused the Police of arresting innocent people and demanded their immediate release.

Editorial Perspective

In the history as well as the present, every riot in India is started by fanatic Muslims targeting Hindus. No one will disagree that this would continue to happen in the future. What SDPI is trying to do here is victimise Muslims to prove them innocent. That is what Muslims always do.
