Pastor Sanjeev, who converted Hindus in Sitapur (Uttar Pradesh) in police custody
Sitapur (Uttar Pradesh) – The Sitapur police have detained Pastor Sanjeev Kumar, who had gathered Hindus in the name of prayer meetings and converted them into Hindus. The incident took place on September 7.
Pastor Sanjeev was organising a meeting called ‘Calasia’ to convert Hindus. Activists of Hindu organisations reached one such meeting and exposed the incident. After which Rahul Gupta, district vice-president of Rashtriya Bajrang Dal, filed a police complaint, “I got to know that a converted Christian named Sanjeev Kumar was converting Hindus in Deoria Khurd village. When we found the information to be correct, we went to his meeting and exposed the incident “he said, adding that the police rushed to the spot and took Sanjeev into custody. There are pictures of Jesus Christ on the walls of Sanjeev’s house.
