Ladies, Realise the importance of wearing Sattvik clothes and while buying ensure that they are Sattvik !
Research by Maharshi Adyatma Vishvavidyalay
An individual’s attire affects his attitude unconsciously. The current rajasik- tamasik attire like T-shirts and jeans make the attitude of a woman more extroverted and materialistic, whereas the saree, either 6 yards or 9 yards style, tends to make a woman more modest and spiritually introverted. By abiding by Dharma, devotion towards God is created and a person’s journey towards God realisation begins.
The Universal Aura Scanner (UAS) was developed in 2005 by Dr. Mannem Murthy, a former nuclear scientist from Telengana. By using this instrument the Energy and the aura of an object, a premises, an animal or an individual can be measured.
Maharshi Adyatma Vishvavidyalay performed research on the effect of different attire on a woman, using the Universal aura scanner (UAS). It can be noted from the table given ahead that the negative energy aura of the woman increased after wearing clothes that were not Sattvik. On the contrary, her negative energy was nullified and positive energy aura was generated after wearing Sattvik clothes. The importance of wearing a saree can be understood from this.
Note – In this study, UAS readings of the woman were taken before and after wearing different types of clothes. Negative and positive energy auras of an object, premises and individual can be measured with this device.
Different clothes worn by the woman | Negative Energy Aura (Metres) | Positive Energy Aura (Metres)
Before wearing | After wearing | Before wearing | After wearing
1. Black tube top dress | 1.97 | 2.28 | 0 | 0 |
2. T-shirt and black pants | 1.98 | 2.26 | 0 | 0 |
3. Salwar kurta | 1.57 | 0 | 0 | 1.29 |
4. 6 yard saree | 2.09 | 0 | 0 | 2.33 |
5. 9 yard saree | 1.28 | 0 | 0 | 3.58* |

How can one buy sattvik clothes ?
Nowadays clothes (T-shirts, jeans, salwar-kurta, ghagra-choli etc.) in latest fashions are available in the market. These clothes are very attractive; but may not be Sattvik. The buyer feels attracted because of the illusory vibrations emitted from them. Therefore, instead of looking at the clothes with gross eyes, it is necessary to study what the mind perceives before buying. A few select clothes were studied using the Universal Aura Scanner.
1. Negative energy aura was found in the clothes bought from the market : Some amount of negative energy aura was found in all the clothes in the study; but it was most in the jeans. Minimum negative vibrations and maximum positive vibrations were found in the saree.
Types of clothes | Negative Energy Aura (Metres) | Positive Energy Aura (Metres) |
1. 6 yards saree | 4.97 | 3.18 |
2. T-shirt | 11.48 | 0 |
3. Ghagra-choli (long skirt and blouse) | 14.92 | 0 |
4.Salwar kurta | 17.98 | 0 |
5. Jeans | 30.00 | 0 |
2. How to recognise Sattvik clothes ? : Feeling good by looking at the clothes, feeling good or calm by looking at the colour or design on them, feeling good on touching them, etc makes one understand that they are Sattvik. On the contrary, feeling of heaviness looking at them, discomfort looking at the colour or the design on them, or a disturbing sensation on touching them etc., indicate that the clothes are not sattvik and one can avoid buying them.
3. There is a high possibility of black covering over clothes due to raja-tama environment in the market these days : If the clothes are used without purifying, then one can experience distress due to their vibrations. Therefore, clothes should be used only after purifying them.
4. After buying clothes, they should be used only after purifying : It was customary in the past to place new clothes before God in the temple room at home. By doing so the clothes get charged by the Divine Energy emitted from the Deities. It also helps to create a sense of gratitude that I am getting to wear clothes due to the grace of God.
Conclusion : The UAS readings of clothes indicate that the 9 yard saree is the most sattvik
