BJP leader Babulal Marandi while circulating the news of this newspaper on social media said, “The situation in Bangladesh and the objective of religious fanatics is very sensitive for the entire country including Jharkhand. The manner in which the number of Bangladeshi Muslims has suddenly started increasing in Jharkhand suggests that the Congress and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha are also supporting the fundamentalists to achieve their objective.

History of ‘Jamaat-e-Islami’
Jamaat-e-Islami was founded by Sayyid Abul A’la Maududi in the year 1941, a figure associated with the Muslim Brotherhood, with the mission of establishing an Islamic state. The organisation’s ideology promotes an Islamic conquest, aiming to bring the world under Islamic rule. After the partition of India, Jamaat-e-Islami was divided into different factions. Various organisations were formed such as Jamaat-e-Islami Bangladesh, as well as Jamaat-e-Islami Pakistan. Jamaat-e-Islami opposed the creation of Bangladesh in 1971. This organisation is still known as a supporter of Pakistan. This organisation is said to be an arm of Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI.
