Muslim mob attacks Police to rescue a drug trafficker at Saharanpur (UP)
Javed rescued by vandalising Police vehicle and throwing chili powder in eyes
Saharanpur (Uttar Pradesh) – In Ghatampur village of Saharanpur District, an incident has occurred wherein a Muslim mob attacked the Police to free Javed, a drug smuggler who was wanted by the Police. Women Police were also targeted in this attack. Some burqa clad women were also among those who attacked the Police. The attack was done with the help of sticks and stones. Police vehicles were vandalised and their uniforms were torn. Javed was rescued from the Police by throwing chili powder in the eyes of the Police personnel. The Police have arrested a total of 6 accused including 3 women involved in this violence. Others are absconding and and the Police are searching for them. (One cannot imagine the situation if a common Hindu is caught by a Muslim mob, when even the Police are assaulted so badly. Such incidents prove time and again that the Muslims everywhere are always ready to attack – Editor).
The Police had received information that drug smuggler Javed was hiding in Ghatampur village under Nakud Police station limits of Saharanpur District. Police Inspector Narendra Bhadana immediately reached Ghatampur with his team. Javed was caught by a Police team. When the Police team was busy with legal action, suddenly Javed shouted loudly and started gathering people. Muslims from Javed’s village reached the spot. In order to rescue Javed, they attacked the Police, abused them, and rescued Javed from the custody of the Police.
The police have taken a tough stand after this incident. Police teams under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Dehat Sagar Jain are ready to take action against the attackers. So far, 6 accused have been arrested in this case. The arrested accused were produced in Court and sent to jail.
