Demonstrations by Hindus outside the UN headquarters : Violence against Hindus in Bangladesh

Devout Hindu organisation ‘HinduACTion’ took the initiative

Washington (USA) – Protests are taking place in various places of the world against the persecution of Hindus in Bangladesh. For the protection of Hindus in Bangladesh, devout Hindu organisation ‘HinduACTion’ protested outside the United Nations headquarters on 9th August. Along with this, similar demonstrations were held in many places in New York.

US Republican Congressman Pat Fallon also expressed concern over the issue and condemned incidents of targeting minorities in Bangladesh. He posted on social media and wrote, ‘I strongly condemn the ongoing political violence and religious persecution in Bangladesh. I request the Interim Government to act in the common interest of the Bangladeshi people and end this violence immediately.

The protest was held in Paris on 12th August

A protest was be held in the French capital Paris on 12th August to raise voice against atrocities on Hindus in Bangladesh. Organisers have appealed to all Hindus in Paris to come together. The protest was be held at the famous ‘Place de la Republic’ (Republic Square) here, as informed by the devout Hindus in Bangladesh to Sanatan Prabhat’.

Editorial Perspective

It is commendable that Hindus are protesting outside the United Nations headquarters. It is equally true that if the Hindus of the world organise a large and effective organisation, it will create a deterrent to the Hindu hatred of the world.
