67,000 acres of encroached Government land freed in the last 7 years in UP

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has freed 67,000 acres of land in the last 7 years through his campaign to free the encroached Government land. Also, the illegal activities on these lands have also been stopped due to this. Houses are being constructed on these lands for poor people. A stadium has also been built. Despite this, thousands of acres of lands are still encroached and the Government is trying to enact a law to free those.
The land encroached by the notorious gangster named Mukhtar Ansari has been freed and houses are being built there for the poor.
76 apartments having area of 300 square feet are being constructed under the ‘Lucknow Development Authority Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana’. They will be given to the poor through lottery system. The price of each apartment is Rs 7.5 lakh. The Government is also going to provide a subsidy worth Rs 2.5 lakh per apartment.
In Prayagraj, a stadium was built on the land freed from the gangster Atiq Ahmed.
