Won’t stop until minority Hindus of Bangladesh get justice : Shri Thanedar, US Rep of Indian origin
Washington (USA) – Shri Thanedar, the US Representative of the Indian origin, has expressed his resolve that he will not stop till he gets justice for the minority Hindus of Bangladesh. Thanedar has posted a video about this on social media.
In this video, he says that minority Hindus in Bangladesh want justice. It is heart-wrenching to read reports of injustice about them. All this must stop, and I am determined to bring them justice. Attacks on the minority Hindus there are totally unacceptable. I am in touch with the US State Department and officials around the world. We will not stop until all these issues are resolved.
Last year, Thanedar founded the American Congress of Hindus, Buddhists, Sikhs and Jains ‘caucus’ (a single-purpose working group) to speak up against the persecution of Hindus and other religious minorities in the US and other parts of the world. Thanedar had said at the time that he was particularly concerned by reports of attacks targeting Hindu minorities in various countries. The incidents of vandalism and targeting of temples and houses of Hindus are as disturbing as they are reprehensible.
Editorial Perspective
Have the devout Hindu Indian MP’s and MLAs ever expressed such a resolve ? It is evident from this, that because of this lowly and abject attitude of the Indians, there is no saviour for the Hindus. |
