Dhaka (Bangladesh) – The attacks on Hindus in Bangladesh continue unabated. Hundreds of Hindu homes are being attacked, with reports indicating numerous killings. In addition to the killings, Hindu women have been subjected to rape, and some have also been kidnapped. There has been no official information provided by Bangladesh regarding these attacks; however, victim Hindus have been posting videos of the attacks on social media. These videos reveal the gravity of the situation.

While speaking to the media, a young Bangladeshi Hindu mentioned that some people in Bangladesh are helping them, but some religious fanatics are attacking them. They are not hesitating to kill. Jamaat-e-Islami group members are roaming on the streets of Bangladesh with guns, which is a matter of concern for Hindus. Internet services are being cut off, making it difficult for the victims to communicate with anyone.
Jamaat-e-Islami compiling lists of Hindu homes and shops for targeted attacks
Jamaat-e-Islami is creating lists of Hindu homes and shops and targeting them accordingly. The organisation ‘Vishwa Hindu Mahasangh, Bangladesh’ has released a list of kidnapped and abused women, which include three Hindu women who have reportedly been abducted. Many Bangladeshi Hindus are not revealing their real names. They are also unable to flee to save their lives.
After Sheikh Hasina’s resignation, more than 2,200 religious fanatics who were imprisoned have been granted bail. Reportedly, this could worsen the condition of Hindus further.
