Pakistani national arrested over conspiracy to kill Donald Trump
Washington (US) – Asif Merchant (age 46), a Pakistani national, has been arrested in the US in connection with plotting to assassinate Presidential Candidate Donald Trump. Merchant had plotted assassination of US political leaders to take revenge on the assassination of Iran’s Revolutionary Guards’ Supreme Commander Qasim Sulemani in 2020. After this information, US Government has beefed up the security of Donald trump and other officials.
Merchant had stayed in Iran for several days before he left for the US. He reached the US from Pakistan in April. After he arrived in the US, he attempted to find an attacker in the New York.
