Supreme Court on the accident in the coaching centre in Delhi
New Delhi – ‘We are concerned about the security of the coaching centres. Coaching centers are playing with children’s lives. They are death centres’, the Supreme Court said while hearing a plea in the case of the death of 3 students due to flooding in the basement of the Rau Coaching Center in Delhi. The Court issued a notice to the Union Government and the chief secretary of Delhi and asked whether security rules have been enforced in the coaching centre.

The Court onserved that we feel that if the coaching centres do not meet the security norms, they should start teaching online. We do not currently do this.
₹1 lakh fine for challenging Delhi High Court order
The Supreme Court has imposed a fine of ₹1 lakh on the president, secretary and treasurer of the coaching centre federation for challenging the order of the Delhi High Court.
