By 2050, India will have the largest Muslim population
New Delhi – According to a Forbes report, the global Muslim population is expected to grow rapidly by 2050. The report states that Muslims will be on par with the Christian population worldwide. The report lists the top 10 countries with the fastest-growing Muslim population, with India ranked first.
It is projected that India will have a Muslim population of 316.6 million by 2050, marking a 46% increase compared to the current population. In contrast, Pakistan’s Muslim population is expected to be 270 million by that time.

Assam Muslim Population Now 40% !
Ranchi – Assam Chief Minister Himant Biswa Sarma claimed that the Muslim population in Assam has now risen to 40 per cent, contending that demographic change is a ‘big issue’ in the North-Eastern State. “It was 12 per cent in 1951. This is not a political issue for me, but a matter of life and death”, he told reporters.
