Nefarious plans of Pak-sponsored terrorists will never materialise : PM Modi warns

Kargil (Ladakh) – Prime Minister Narendra Modi warned Pakistan-sponsored terrorists that their nefarious plans would never materialise while speaking on the occasion of 25th ‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’.

Highlights of PM Modi’s speech

‘Kargil Vijay Diwas’ reminds us that the sacrifices made for our nation are eternal and forever remembered. As time passes, days turn into months, months into years, and years into centuries – the names of those who lay down their lives for the sake of national security remain etched in our collective memory, immortalised. We are forever indebted to the brave army men of this country.

We didn’t just win a war in Kargil, but we set a wonderful example of truth, restraint and strength before the world
You know that India was trying to maintain peace and in return, Pakistan once again showed its untrustworthy face. Though the falsehood and terror were defeated in the face of truth, Pakistan didn’t learn a lesson from history. Today, I am speaking from a place where the masters of terror can hear my voice directly. I want to tell these patrons of terrorism that their nefarious intentions will never succeed. Our soldiers will crush terrorism with full force and the enemy will be given a befitting reply.

A few people are misleading Indian youth about ‘Agniveer’ scheme

Regarding the ‘Agniveer’ scheme for soldiers, PM Modi asked, will a person recruited today be paid a pension from today ? He will be eligible for pension after 30 years when Modi will be 105 years old. Will there be a Modi Government in this country at that time ? A few people are misleading the youth about the scheme that the Government was bringing the scheme to avoid paying pension.
