US Policeman who laughed over an Indian student’s death fired
Washington – A US Police officer who made insensitive comments and laughed after the death of an Indian student has been fired. Janhvi Kandula (age 23), a student at Northeastern University in Washington, was hit by a Police vehicle while crossing the road on January 23. The Police car was driven by an officer named Kevin Dave and he was speeding to reach a location to investigate another case. After being hit by the vehicle, Kandula fell 100 feet away. In a video released by the Seattle Police Department, Police officer Daniel Auderer can be seen laughing and making sarcastic comments about the horrific accident.

The disciplinary action report said the officer’s actions left the Seattle Police Department humiliated. Allowing this officer to remain in office will insult the entire Police department. For this reason, he is being dismissed.
