If India’s patience runs out, war could ensue – J&K’s former CM Farooq Abdullah#KathuaTerrorAttack
How can we ascertain that Farooq Abdullah, known for speaking the language of #Pakistan, isn’t making these statements with an eye on the upcoming #assemblyelections ?… pic.twitter.com/uWCr3dVjfq

1. On the other hand, Congress MP Rahul Gandhi, the Leader of the Opposition in the Lok Sabha, said that these cowardly attacks on our army are highly condemnable. The fifth terrorist attack in a month is a big blow to the security of the country and the lives of our soldiers. The ongoing terrorist attacks will only be resolved through concrete action.
2. Union Minister Giriraj Singh said, “During the UPA Government, there used to be bomb blasts all over the country from Telangana to Odisha, but today, like rats enter the burrow, terrorists are entering the burrow. The same is happening in Kashmir. Congress should not demoralise the army, paramilitary forces and soldiers of Kashmir.
3. Defence expert Prafulla Bakshi said that there are ‘sleeper cells’ (hidden groups of civilians who support terrorists) all over Jammu and Kashmir, who are supporting the terrorists. After all, who is giving the terrorists a place to stay, who is giving them weapons ?
Editorial Perspective
Such statements from Farooq Abdullah, who always speaks for Pakistan, could be an indication that he is eyeing on upcoming assembly elections in Jamu-Kashmir. |
