Russia’s air attack on a hospital in Ukraine : 41 killed, 170 injured
More than 100 buildings damaged
Kyiv (Ukraine) – Russia has claimed to have carried out an airstrike on a children’s hospital in the capital of Ukraine, Kyiv. 41 people were killed and more than 170 people were injured. According to CNN, the attack took place on 8th July. After this, more than 600 patients were shifted from the hospital. The attack was so massive that more than 100 nearby buildings were damaged.
The hospital building collapsed shortly after the attack. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said the attack was carried out because the hospital was crowded. He called an urgent army meeting to avenge this attack. The United Nations Security Council has also reportedly organised a special meeting.
Ukraine’s air force said it shot down 30 of 38 Russian missiles. It was the biggest attack ever.
