Decision to install 3,900 kg mace
Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh) – Longest bow and arrow in the country will be installed in Ayodhya. The length of this bow and arrow is 33 feet and weight is 3,400 kg. Along with the bow and arrow there will also be a mace weighing 3,900 kg. Where exactly this bow and mace will be installed is yet to be decided. Maces, bows and arrows are made of punched metal. It is manufactured by ‘Sriji Sanatan Seva Sansthan’ at Shivganj, Sumerpur, Rajasthan. From there it will be brought to Ayodhya.

Giant 1600 Kg Bow and Arrow along with 1100 Kg Mace, crafted from five different metals, is a gift to the Ram Mandir Trust.

1. Champat Rai, General Secretary of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Tirtha Kshetra Trust said that the bow and arrow and the mace will be kept in Karsevak Puram, after which a decision will be taken as to where to plant them.
2. Earlier, a 17-feet long and 900 kg bow was installed at Bhilwara in Rajasthan, while the country’s heaviest and longest mace was installed at Pitru Parbat in Indore. It weighs 21 tons and is 45 feet long.
3. On the other hand, 400 kg of locks have been brought from Aligarh to Ayodhya. The lock is 10 feet long and 4 feet wide and has a thickness of 9.5 inches. Its 4 feet long key weighs 30 kg. 2.5 lakh rupees were spent to create this lock. Satyaprakash, who owns a lock business, wanted to gift a lock to the temple at the inauguration of Shriram Mandir; but he died 41 days before the Pranapratistha.
