Thousands of animals to be killed in Mumbai on Bakri Eid

Animal slaughter allowed in 114 places

Mumbai – The Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) has so far allowed animal slaughter at 114 places in the city on the occasion of Bakri Eid. This number is likely to increase later. Therefore, thousands of animals are likely to be killed in Mumbai on the occasion of Bakri Eid. Animal slaughter has been allowed in Mumbai on 17th , 18th and 19thJune for Bakri Eid. A separate app has also been developed on the website of the BMC for applying for permission for animal slaughter. Municipal administration has appealed to follow the terms and conditions of the rules while killing the animals
