Pakistan not invited to Prime Minister Modi’s swearing-in ceremony
Islamabad – Narendra Modi is going to take the Prime Ministerial oath for the third consecutive time. The swearing in ceremony will be held on 9thJune. Leaders of the neighbouring countries like Sri Lanka, Maldives, Seychelles, Bangladesh, Mauritius, Nepal, Bhutan etc have been invited for the swearing-in ceremony. But Pakistan has been ignored. In 2014, when Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister for the first time, he had invited the then Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif for the swearing-in ceremony. But in 2019, he did not invite Pakistan for his second swearing-in ceremony.
