Kota (Rajasthan) – A 65-year-old man who was visiting the Deva Narayan Temple died a few days ago. His death was said to be due to illness; but now the CCTV footage near the temple revealed that the death was due to an assault. Following this, the Police have registered a case of murder against Faizan, Zeeshan and Feroze. These three had assaulted Satyanarayan Gurjar for a trivial reason. He was admitted to the hospital in a critical condition and died during treatment. Gurjar was a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) volunteer. His son Yudhishthir Khatana is the District President of BJP Yuva Morcha rural area.

On 22nd May, Satyanararan Gurjar went to Devnarayan Temple for darshan. Construction work is ongoing on the road leading to the temple. He could not go to the temple as there was construction material there. He requested the people present there to give way to visit the temple. However, the accused resorted to misbehaviour and assaulted Gurjar.

Editorial Perspectives

  • Hindus feel that such an incident should not happen when there is a BJP Government in Rajasthan.
  • Why don’t political parties like Congress, Samajwadi Party, Trinamool Congress, Nationalist Congress Party, CPI(M) and pseudo-liberals who claim that ‘Muslims are unsafe in India’ open their mouths now ?
