New Delhi – Fugitive Islamic preacher Zakir Naik has once again spewed venom. He stated that it is better to go to a factory that makes weapons for terrorists than to go to a temple or church. Building such religious places is the greatest sin, and attending their inaugurations is also wrong. Recently, a young man named Mohammad Zeeshan asked Zakir Naik about getting a job at a temple construction establishment in the United Arab Emirates. In response, Zakir Naik made the above controversial statement.

Zakir Naik further stated, “Engaging in temple construction work is a grave sin. We cannot work for any religious place other than those of Islam. It will be considered ‘haram’ (forbidden).”
Who is Zakir Naik?
Zakir Naik is a controversial Islamic preacher born in Mumbai. He currently resides in Malaysia. He is accused in various cases in India. In 2016, his ‘Islamic Research Foundation’ was banned in India. Additionally, the National Investigation Agency filed a case against Zakir Naik under the ‘Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act’. The Enforcement Directorate has also charged him with money laundering. Following these charges, he fled India.
