Case registered against Ajit Hanamakkanavar, Editor of ‘Suvarna Vahini’
Complaint filed by a Muslim for showing Indian Muslims with the Pakistani flag

Bengaluru – Suvarna Vahini Editor Ajit Hanamakkanavar has been accused of insulting Indian Muslims through a programme. A case has been registered against him at a local Police Station. Tanvir Ahmad has filed a complaint against him.
On 9th May at 8:30 p.m., while Hanamakkanavar was presenting a programme, the write-up displayed on the background screen read, ‘Hindu population is dwindling, and Muslim population is increasing rapidly.’ The programme showed a 7.82% decrease in the Hindu population with the Indian flag in the background and a 43.15% increase in the Muslim population with the Pakistani flag in the background. It has been alleged that Indian Muslims are shown as Pakistanis. The complaint demands action against Hanamakkanavar.
