Kochi (Kerala) – An alarming information has come out that 50,000 intruders from Bangladesh, Myanmar and Sri Lanka are residing in Kerala and have obtained fake Aadhaar Cards. Kerala’s English news site ‘On Manorama’ said that this information came to light with reference to the army’s intelligence agencies.
1. This is being done by the people at the Government Aadhaar Card making centers. Army intelligence said the fake Aadhaar Cards were made through Aadhaar Card issuing centers at Madhupur and Nagaon in Assam, Kalimpong, Nadia and North Dinajpur in Bengal, and Perumbavoor in Kerala.
2. After this information came to light, the Border Security Force and other security agencies have been alerted and patrolling has been increased in the coastal states.
3. The few Aadhaar Card centers currently in Kerala are being operated from Jharkhand and Bengal. A similar case has come to light in Kerala’s Malappuram, where an Aadhaar Card center was being run from Bengal.
4. Even earlier, there were reports of Rohingya intruders entering India from the Bangladesh border using the identities of the dead. They were getting identity cards made in the names of the deceased. The case was also investigated by the National Investigation Agency. Some people were also arrested in Tamil Nadu in this case.
Editorial Perspective
Such incidents give an idea of the extent of corruption in India. After the intruders came to India, the Indian gangs who made fake documents should be booked for treason and sent to jail for life. |
