H D Revanna arrested, Prajwal’s anticipatory bail application rejected

Bengaluru (Karnataka) – Karnataka MLA and Janata Dal (Secular) leader H D Revanna, who is accused of sexually abusing numerous women in Karnataka, has been arrested by the Special Investigation Team. He was arrested from the house of his father and former Prime Minister of the country H D Deve Gowda. H D Revanna and his son Prajwal Revanna are accused of sexually abusing several women and making their videos. An anticipatory bail plea filed by Prajwal in the Bengaluru Court in this case has been rejected. He is reportedly in Germany currently.
H D Revanna has been elected as an MLA for 6 times from Holenarsipur Assembly Constituency in Hassan. Prajwal was elected as MP from Hassan in the year 2019. He is also running for Lok Sabha elections 2024. While former Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy was the Chief Minister of the State, his brother H D Revanna was a minister.
In this case, the victim who was abducted a week ago has also been rescued from Kalenahalli in Hunsur taluka. The victim was locked up in the farm-house of a person named Rajasekhar. Rajasekhar is considered to be close to the Revanna family.
